Barefoot and in the Kitchen of Our Own Accord

Ashley reclaims the kitchen space for vegan feminists, presenting us all with recipes designed to impress the meat-eaters in your life. Also features recommendations for vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants in California.

Cheap Vegan

Sadly now out of print, but back issues are occasionally available through etsy. Provides lots of tips to live frugally and vegan: shopping, cooking, gardening, and housecleaning. The zine helps readers rethink their consumption habits through ideas for reducing consumption, and reusing or recycling materials. Unlike many guides to saving money, this one also emphasizes ways to save time. The recipes are tasty, the wisdom is priceless.

Please Don't Feed the Bears

Brad Misanthrope brings us a "vegan cookzine for the culinarily impaired." His favorite recipes are served up with personal comments, social criticism, and recommendations for socially aware music, even including song suggestions for listening while you cook each recipe.

Rabbit Fodder Addict

Adorable, tiny zine from Stephanie S. with an emphasis on cheap and easy recipes. The sauces are especially tasty. For just one dollar and a first-class stamp, you too will never go hungry again.
